@NoogyToad From a programmer to a programer, is that skeletal Animation you are using? and the maps are they Draw or Transformed object placement? Like diferent Parts?
Really really great animation you have there, so smooth =)

@mouravision Thanks :) I'm actually using a combination of fully animated frames and segmented body parts for various characters. I don't have a true skeletal system in place since I prefer the more organic approach to moving parts. This means more work in the end, but it lets me apply more traditional animation 'cheats' to create livelier animation.
As for maps, they are a series of segments, manually placed together. A bit of ground, a bush, a tree trunk... A palette of pieces.
