Eureka is a great bass pre too.

I wish I had that many Eurekas

@YaronFisherT It works for what it is, remember it's all preference, and this is for a "pop" drum sound.

Martin Atkins ( Killing Joke, PIL, PigFace, Damage Manual ) uses the Eureka and makes incredible use of it ... his drum tracks on Damage Manual are huge. Good nuff for me ...

Fudge packer studio! Presonus blows!
What a waste.Just use a ISA 828 for less money and sound way better!!!

I don't think a lot of what you are saying here makes any real musical sense..to me, personally I think the drums sound is not all that good. But an ear is a very personal thing. Very nice and overall informative video. Love the studio, with the CR up a flight, ala EMI studio 2

how come the snare sounded like ass all the way up to the very end clip then it sounded perfect lol
I don't think his comment about the saturate is correct. My understanding is the transformer is always in circuit. The saturate adjusts the amount of current drain going through the FET amplifier for the preamp, which in turn adds even order harmonics like tubes do to create more warmth in the signal. Someone from Presonus should probably clarify that.
