breezer ...garifuna ancestors were NOT slaves ...take it from someone who does know the history ....

-
it reads "decendants of", i cant talk cause i dont know the history but it does say DECENDANTS OF
-
great video except one thing you need to change your description Garifuna were never slaves
-
whether they had been slaves at one point or another is inconsequential, however they seem to share with the geechee-gullah a particular isolation and freedom from their oppressors--that is why they maintained or developed a distinct culture melding african traditions with amerindian traditions

GREAT STUFF ! I wasn't aware of this style .Please post more!
Quick correction of the description, we the Garinagu people are not descendents of slaves, we are the descendents of Africans who took over the slave ship they were in and shipwrecked of the coast of St. Vincent where they mixed with the local Carib and Arawak Indians, my ancestors were not slaves...........

Me encanta!! Guatemala tiene una cultura tan rica con influencias indigenas, de espana, y por supuesto de africa por el lado de Livingston y Puerto Barrios.
