-Joe's POV.

I could only wish that that was me standing there dancing with her. No-one knows what I'd give to be that close to her again. It hurt to know that we were in the same room, apart. She was so close, yet a thousand miles away. Deep down inside of me, there was a part that believed she felt the same, but seeing her so happy as she danced with David was just making me miserable.
'Check please.' I asked the waiter as he walked by.
Camilla looked concerned.
'I'm fine baby.' I forced a smile towards her and placed my hand over hers that was on the table.
I full well knew that she wasn't my 'baby' but I didn't want to make her feel bad. I paid for the meal and we left.

-Indie's POV.

As we pulled up outside the apartments, I became increasingly nervous. Sure, I liked David, but I was becoming wary of the textbook front-porch-kiss. As I stepped out of his car, he did too. We walked all the way up to apartment and sure enough, we stood on my porch.
'I had fun tonight.' he said.
This is not looking good.
'Uh, uh. Me too.' I stammered.
Oh, God; he's leaning in, I thought to myself. Do I dodge, do I give him my cheek, do I stop him? Then Nick saved the day. He opened my door and looked guiltily at us.
'Bye David. I'll call you.' I smiled.
'Sure. Bye Indie. Bye Nick.' I could have sworn I saw a glare.
As soon as Nick closed the door behind himself, I threw my arms around him.
'Nick! You have such good timing.' I cried.
I heard him chuckle.
'Are you the only one still here?' I asked him.
'Yup, I wanted to wait. And when I heard his car, I know I should have given you privacy, but I couldn't help it. And when I saw you looking a little awkward, I decided to save you.' he smiled.
'Well, thank you.'
Nick stayed the night and left in the morning to go to the recording studio. When I realised he left his jacket, I decided to drop it round. I had nothing better to do and his house was just a minute away.
'Indie; come in dear.' Mrs Jonas greeted me warmly.
'Hey Denise. Nick left his jacket at mine last night, could I take it up to him?' I asked.
'Sure. Go on up. You know where his room is.' she smiled warmly.
I walked upstairs and headed to Nick's room, but I became distracted by a beautifully simple tune coming from a room I had never been in before. The double doors were wide open, showing a room with dark, hardwood floors and a magnificent white piano on a platform, with a big window as a backdrop. I stood out of view. It was Joe, I could tell from his voice as he sung.
(PLAY NOW! READ THE LYRICS SO IT MEANS SOMETHING. so, its supposed to be that joe wrote this about him and indie.)
The song was so simple, and perfect. I heard the lid close on the keys, I saw him stand up. I briskly walked into the big room. I saw him just standing there, staring at me with tears in his eyes matching the ones that had now formed in mine. I threw my arms around him and let my lips softly place themselves on top of his.
I had never felt so complete.
