  • Could you actually show how a therapist might use it in therapy with a client?

    It would be great to have some examples just to get started.

  • @nicktrish2008 I would recommend reading "Transactional Analysis in Psychotherapy" and "Games People Play" by Eric Berne. The importance is to give the client an understanding of these three ego states and to allow them to distinguish from which of these is responsible for the unwanted emotions/behaviour and then using your therapeutic toolkit to develop other ego-states to give them new more flexible options.
