Benny Alfonso smashed the wall and Slid about 1200 FEET after running a 6.2@ 215mph. Hit so hard it put a hole in the wall. 10-2-2010 Qualifying. Watch the WHEEL bounce at a deadly speed over the opposite wall after impact among other things.. The medical and Rescue team did a phenominal job, as always.

  • The guy taking the video sounds like the guy in the Clear Eyes commercial.

  • Love the intercom announcer's reaction: "Oh boy.....Benny Alfonso going for a wild ride on that practice run..." my thoughts and prayers to him for a good and healthy recovery

  • holy nasty crash wish the driver a speedy recovery

  • @jgong8638 Looking at the video it looks like the rear end just snapped loose because he was so far out of the groove. When you have 3000hp the ass end is skating on ice anyways. There have been a handful of these wrecks lately in the ProMod ranks. Look at Roger Burgess's wreck at Norwalk this year, same scenario. The car was out of the groove but he kept his foot in it.

  • Glad to hear he is okay! What a hit! Wish he had lifted though...wasn't worth the risk

  • BENNY SENDING ALL OUR PRAYS AND WELL WISHES FOR A SPEEDY HEALTHY RECOVERY,,MANY BLESSINGS,,

  • i though he was going to lift

    hope he recovers quick

  • @jgong8638 great job with the video.I wish Benny a speedy recovery..

  • sucks to see this but thats drag racing thoughts and prayers sent to benny and his family
