Visage are BACK! The long awaited 4th album in finishing up recording for a May 2012 release! Steve sounds fantastic, they got the original lineup back together including Midge and Rusty. CAN'T WAIT!

@LuxX63 Actually, ecstasy pre-dates all of this, in particular Soft Cell are noted for being on X while making Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.  Nothing wrong with proper techno, it's very Moroder influenced itself. New Romantic music is an EDM genre just like house or electro, it had major influence on electroclash in particular. Also, as a 23 year old New Romantic, I take offense to being called empty and full of violence.

@anthonynewsome Well, there's a (canadian?) band called Mother, Mother that's pretty interesting... they're working NOW, not 30 years ago - so good stuff still happens.. give 'em a whirl.

@hcvang I do indeed use the net to explore music - but even UT is limited in what it serves up - my friend is a DJ & I steel a of his collection - Steve & Rusty's club adventures were fantastic because of the music they played - Rusty brought in a lot of underground US dance classics that you'd never here on radio - Discharge has a few great early DISCO albums worth exploring - the cover pics alone are worth having
