I do not believe they are deliberately conning people out of money..PP are mega huge and as such they produce set procedures in how they handle peoples money. If a transaction is out of the norm they will flag it and, usually they will suspend payments.Answer: Phone them and get them to verbally explain why they did what they have,it happened to me twice, very frustrating. Get a persons ID and deal only with them. I have found that if you deal with one person and explain to them, they will solve it
This is fraud. What is the attorney general's office doing about this? I got screwed by Paypal in a minor way but they still screwed me and wouldn't do anything about it. I'm going to stop using them even though I sometimes want to buy things on ebay. It's just not worth the frustration. People can fight back by taking their business elsewhere.
I was just about to use paypal screw this then, I don't ever want to give my credit or debit info to anyone, most sites have different payment options like bill me later :)
You know when you get hateful with a customer service agent (they've probably had it all day) they just click a few buttons and wammo make it worse for you. Just be as kind as possible pretend you don't care about it and usually it can be resolved. I did this with PayPal it was resolved in 48 hours. It was a lot more then $200 too.
@Pards2009 that is not truth , after i send them all the required documents then they asked for another paper, then another and anther.Once i sent them all the decided to hold the funds for 180 days.

They really are scamming people, its very frustrating. It is actually illegal and is classed as fraud and they can be taken to court.
