OotHE - Developer's Playground

This video marks the Order of the Hidden Eye's TWENTIETH recording since we've been on YouTube! This is a cause for celebration, and what better celebration than the discovery of Developer's Playground?! It's not much of a 'playground' so to speak anymore though. Now, it is simply water underwater, but it is one of the mythical Blizzard locations in World of Warcraft. Although this isn't the actual place, it sure is in Otherworld. Unfortunately, the actual location is far from obtainable (at least, so far). We get within arm's reach of Playground de Developer, yet parish from fatigue. We are sending out a challenge to fellow explorers to get there before we do, and hope that someone will accept our contest. Can you do it?

This film was recorded using Fraps in World of Warcraft during Patch 3.1.2. During no time during, before, or between scenes were hacks or illegal third-party programs used at any time whatsoever. This was filmed partially on a private server (to record the location's entirety), and the rest on retail's Khaz Modan (US). With me is Imaketwinks, hailing from Kilrogg (US).

The first part of it is, to get the introduction photage. The outfit I'm wearing LOOKS like the GM outfit, but it's actually a robe you get from doing the Azuremyst Furbolg quests, and Azure Silk Hood.

@OotHEWoW Definetely, I've been to places most people won't even know about like mount hyjal, quel'thalas (near west plaguelands on map, doesn't light up) and good old old ironforge. :D

what's the big deal about a patch of water underwater? There's places like this all over the place that don't require alot of time and a repair bill to get to (Coilfang Resivoir, for one.)

I've managed to get there with soul stone and water walking, was a while ago so dont know if it still works but with water walking you were able to sorta..walk underwater. By now a few million people have probably done it already but whatever. =)

have u folks seen the brand new rogue hack which enables you to cheat in arena? it is astounding, my own rogue is in complete arena pvp equipment 2200 rating! i dont actually want to talk about this but what the heck.. you can get it at wowcheatsYnet (replace Y with . ) however dont tell too many people!
