Mayor_Bloomberg- on the separation of chuch and state- and the Mosque in New York

Mayor Bloomberg speaks out about the Mosque to be built in New York. He describes how important it is to show American tolerance, and the mutual respect and tolerance that America stands for at it's core value. Our core values - the right of religious freedom, and tolerance of religious views, is under attack by those who would forbid the building of a house of worship on private property.

I stand with Mayor Bloomberg on this one- we MUST hold to our American values- which means following the U.S. Constitution, and providing equal access, and equal protection to all, regardless of religious views. We should NEVER allow the United States government to choose or favor one religion over another.
