May 1st 2011.
Amber and Tim have their handfasting ceremony at Bushy Coombe, the public part of Chalice hill, Glastonbury, England.
Zena and Dreow the Druid ( both in white) conduct the ceremony.
Oshia plays the Harp, and later sings alone and with her friends. The "Pigeon Song" can raise a smile from anyone!
Tim and Amber give us a happy song too.
Handfasting is a pagan marriage similar to a conventional civil marriage, and vows of commitment are exchanged between the two partners as usual. Beltane, the ancient Celtic fire-festival, is a good time to get married.
I found this ceremony wonderful, and the music is great too; shame about the WIND NOISE, but it's not heard all the time; reduce your bass if it's too much for you. I hope it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of this rather lengthy vid.
Many thanks to the YouTube operators who now allow quite long videos on some accounts.
Your best video yet Mike.It is very joyful and pleasing to watch.May the happy couple journey well together.

Hi Steve. I echo your words, and sincerely wish for a happy life for Amber and Tim.
My only regret for this video is that the wind-noise can be overpowering at times; not much that I could do about that I'm afraid, as using the 'wind-cut' feature on the camera would have produce not only wind-cut, but a thin and weedy sound, ruining the rest of the video :(
I haver thumbed up all video comments of late, but have seen that they don't seem to be making it to the page! Mike.
