Tropism, from Ontario, Canada, was formed to explore all forms of sound (read: noise) that could be recorded using low quality, low-fi equipment. It has evolved into a diverse project encompassing harsh noise to discordant soundscapes. After 10+ years in existence, the Tropism catalogue now numbers in excess of 300 entries. A related project, Tropizm (pronounced 'tropism zero'), is an alternate universe version of the original project.
