Siku, the adorable Danish polar bear

In a recent interview, Vigh-Larsen (the handler of Siku at the Park) asked viewers of a TV show to make an effort to reduce their carbon footprints and save energy on Siku's behalf. "And if you all do that, he would be very, very happy," he said.

Siku -que significa hielo marino en Groenlandia- con sus cuidadores jugando en una alfombra.

La madre de Siku lo abandonó porque no podía producir leche para alimentarlo. El animalito fue adoptado en su hábitat por tres empleados del zoológico de Dinamarca quienes se turnan para cuidarlo.
