hello can you make a video turtorial from the mc 808 how to make beats with it step by step ???
-
My problem might be I have 1/4 to rca adapters with rca cables going to the monitors. I have played with the editor a little chopped a sample but then I forgot to save all and only had 1 of the 16 chop points saved. The 808 is a good machine just a lot to learn.

Hey Mike!
I just connect my 808 through the OUTPUT MIX. Each KRK to an output of the 808 using TRS cables. Check out the volume of your speakers at the rear is not too loud and make sure the level is set about 0 db.
Thanks for your comment! I hope you let me know when you upload your own video. Have you worked with the software editor yet? It´s a bit difficult for me :-(

How you finding the 808 in terms of use?. I am looking into geting one very soon, but as I had not had the chance to demo one yet, I was wondering how easy the sampling/sequencing features were of the 808.

Hey Jonno! where u from? I´m from Madrid, spain. In general, the 808 is quite easy to use, quite intuitive and with great sounds. Now I´m getting into the sampling and editor software, which means that I´ll have 16 more tracks, cool!
I´m wondering about getting a drummachine (elektron sps 1) which is amazing. It´ll be fun connecting both at the same time ;-)
