How to enable and disable the number pad on a laptop. press down on the FN+NumLock keys at the same time to enable or disable.

  • IM NOT ABLE TO TYPE IN LOWER CASE LETTERS, OR BACK SPACE IN LOWER CASE LETTERS, AND WE I PRESS CAPS LOCK, IT LETS ME TYPE IN LOWER CASE BUT WONT LET ME ENTER OR BACKSPACE

    Sounds like the problem is the Keyboard. Have you tried and external keyboard? If it works with the external ( USB Keyboard) then the problem is your keyboard will need to be replaced.

  • You don't have to push both at the same time. Just hold the Fn down and then you press num lk key :)

  • my keyboard wont type the letter that comes atter e...also thatf samfe leftter jusft pops up everywhere asf you can see...help

  • @Bmacx87 Press the fn button down and the f11 button down. that should enable/disable the numlock.
