Following up on Matildamothers from comment a year ago: the connection between the Baez version of this song and "I'll Get You" is apparently a chord shift from D to A minor that she makes repeatedly, at least once in the middle of a word ("paradise," at 3:09-3:11 on the Baez clip that comes up a suggestion here). McCartney/Lennon used that shift under the word "pretend" in "I'll Get You,' taking that idea from Baez's "All My Trials," according to the book, "A Hard Day's Write" by Steve Turner.
