The speech that went with the video was the following:

The text that I've written at first for the speech, and tried to translate to Japanese was the following (probably the final version is quite different):

Coming to Japan to live for a year is quite a difficult decision. There are many things that can go bad. That's why, the only thing that we Vulcanus participants are, is brave.
Until now, it's been 4 months. We have lived intensely. Satou-san explained to us one day the "ichigo-ichie" (one meeting, one chance), and we took that slogan as ours. We have tried to live as intensely as we could. In 4 months, there have been many moments going by. Of course we have put our all into studying Japanese, but we have used time quite well.
The only thing sure is that we will never forget this autumn. Forever, we will have many memories. Forever, we will be able to say "That autumn that I lived in Tokyo...". Now, we would like to show you our experience. Now, you will be able to see everyone's favourite 5 moments. I hope you enjoy them.

To the people that made this moments possible (The staff from the Center, the japanese teachers...):

THANK YOU

  • I can't wait too... :)

  • I can't wait until 31 August :)))

  • I'm waiting for the final answer...can't wait!!!

  • I've just put in the application, I hope I am eligible, I want to take part in Vulcanus so bad! :)

  • Hey! My boyfriend and I are very interested in this program, but we have some doubts, we are wondering if you can answer them: 1º What is the ratio of selected people/applicant people? Because we would like to go both together, we have similar cv (engineering+nanomaterials) and we would like to know if it is very hard to get a place. 2º People says that the cost of living in Japan is very high, this grant is enough to cover all your necessities (food+accomodation+plane)?

  • I envy you guys but in a good way ^=^

  • Good job boys and girls !!!

  • Wow it's so..it's so touchable...

I'm an eramus student.. but it's totally different..

I apllied for Vulcanus-Japan, but I dubt that I have a chance because I atteched some documents to my application form in italian language and a copy, translated by me in english, even if I will be selected I don't think that there is a company which works in microbiological branch and it will be interested to my application..

    However, this video is gorgeous..

    I was almost crying...

    Greetings from Prague
