I have tennis elbow and I used the TheraBand exactly how you instructed. The pain was excruciating! I did a couple of repetitions and the pain was really bad, so I had to take a couple of aspirin. I'm afraid that if I continue the exercises, my elbow will get worse instead of better. Should I continue or stop? Thanks.

I apologize, the video demonstrates the use of this bar incorrectly. The injured arm should stay stationary while the uninjured arm loads the bar by twisting it forward. Then the hand of the injured arm slowly rotates forward keeping the uninjured side static. Hope this makes sense and sorry for the confusion. I hope to have a new video up soon with the correct way to do this exercise.

Thanks for taking the time to review the video and comment. After I went back and looked at the video that Katie did, I see that it was done incorrectly. She should have applied the twist with the uninjured hand and release eccentrically with the injured hand. Unfortunately she is producing both and eccentric and concentric movement of the elbow extensors.

I am slightly confused by this video. I recently bougt the Felxbar because of "Tennis Elbow" in my right arm. I am a sign language Interpreter and this is the #1 repetative motion injury we suffer from.

Katie - you say to hold the flex bar, thumb up with the injured (involved) arm. The instruction manual that came with the flex bar says exactly the oppisite - to hold the NON-involved arm thumb up at the base of the bar.

    Can you clarify? Please...

    Thank you
