@ScottishAtheist You are correct, Biblically speaking, we've been living in the "last days" since Jesus resurrection. We are now in the last of the last days for one very powerful reason. Israel.

@anyusmoon1 I agree, one cannot legislate morality. Yes, they must repent and find the Lord Jesus Christ.. I don't pray to the government nor do I endorse doing so. Once again, someone reading into my comment and talking about things I never said. I still stand by my original statement that this filth should be illegal. I am tired of seeing it in the newspaper and on billboards. I cannot drive down my streets without seeing near naked women and men on huge billboards.

In answer to your question the countdown to the 2nd Coming couldn't have started until Israel became a nation in 1949. The Word states no man knows the "exact" hour when the Father will reveal to the Son that it is time for Him to return, but only the Father alone. My personal opinion on that matter is Christ will return somewhere around 2049 at Israels 100th Anniversary.

We cannot pray that government and law teach what Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit are there to help us with. OUr praying to government for a solution is idolatry.
