ok right this is sprite he is a year and 2 months old and is 18 inches i have had him for a year, we get along with one another beacuse in this video i can just take him out with out him hissing, or if u have never held ur chams before hold out one of ur hands and hold a wax worm in the other and tease him out until his two front legs have gripped ur hand, elevate ur hand high then his two hind legs will follow, if his tail is coiled round a branch just undo it with ur free hand, after he is out of his environment sit in a nice quite room and let him get use to the surroundings, he will his and darken in coulour but this is normal behaviour for a cham, ;let him explore but keep a close eye on him, they will try to bite, for my advice i first held my cham a month after having him and after that it was every two weeks i held him same routine used until they get used to u u can then just put ur hand underneath his chin and lift, when holding for the first i recommend u hold them for 10 mins them gradualy build the time over the months, then hopefully it will be tame after a year good luck

  • @jellyfishpoo123 Don't listen to all the people saying you shouldn't handle chameleons, i can guarantee more than half of them don't have one anyway! If from an early age chameleons have become habituated to being handled then it should cause no harm/stress for them when you handle them. One thing you should be careful of though is putting your hand on their back, thats seen as a threat. Come from underneath or the same level, slowly and let them come onto you. However, your chammy is a beauty!

  • @ouchh100 everything bites even a goldfish if u think about it...

  • nice chameleon;) can they bite?

  • @jellyfishpoo123 They aren't even considered to be a pet.. plus, your not supposed to handle them.

  • @nakamuraabe look at my video on how NOT to hold one 1st lol!

  • this video has helpt me

  • Firstly, sort your grammar out. Secondly, you don't pick them up like that. It damages their claws. You have to let them come to you. Do your research before you get a chameleon. I did my research and I'm getting a veiled chameleon soon.

  • @blackopspro283 chameleons are animals that are highly stressful.

they like to be high in the threes or plants behind some bushes for camouflage.

i had one exacly like the one in the video

the one i had was always eager toclimb on peopleand be with people. always wnated to get out of the terrarium the guy fromthe shop said he was very exeptional becausemost chameleons wont be touched

  • wooow your chameleon looks exacly like the one i had..

for people wanna get one think twice its one of the hardest (pets) to take care of
