WonderBoy in Monsterland Arcade Playthrough 3/9

Level 4

I butcher this level good, missing an easy "60" gold, and not going back for it (couldnt be bothered), then falling down the waterhole, so I miss out killing the Kraken twice. This level I might redo and post it seperate.

Even end up using the revival pill. Normally can clear the game easily without even using one.

Why didn't you buy the revival pill down the water? You can go there after the boss if you don't go the first time. And then you can kill the boss twice.

little tip ive learned today, (i play it once or twice a day on my mame on my laptop) buy the heavy armour on this the 3rd level then you can get the legend armour on the next level. i managed to get full armour, boots and shield by the pyramid level, you do need loads of 60 golds, and buy them in the right order, ie, gold boots then legend boots, gold armour then heavy then legend armour, gold shield then legend shield, saves you money that way

combatti il boss prima di entrare in acqua, cosi' se usi la revival pill, sott'acqua lo puoi comperare.

ps da piccolo era il mio game preferito, e ora con gmameu ci gioco, ed e tra i 5 favoriti.

se prima di entrare nell'acqua batti il boss, entrandoci successivamente puoi ritornare a combattere contro il kraken, quindi piu soldi e un ulteriore bonus :)

you had a hiding mate, i like your way of getting gold though, will try that! im glad ive found fellow fans! i was obsessed with this in my local arcade in wales, i could complete it on one 10p. then one day in 1989 they took it away. aargh! for the next 15 years i dreamed about it, even playing the master system version. then in 2004 i discovered mame, absolute heaven! if you want more of a challenge change the difficulty settings in the dip settings
