You wanna try to let the button bucks live,but if you kill one ,oh well you cant do anything about it..its a trophy as far as the quality of the meat..cant eat antlers anyway. I killed 2 buttons this year.and one of them i was pretty sure it was a button,and i went ahead and shot..and i wished i didnt,but then i decided to just quit worrying about it and try to let them go next year.I shoot anything that gets my knees knocking.Good hunts. I gotta try some deer heart.
