My father wrote this poem a number of years ago for a woman we know. She was pregnant with twins and one was diagnosed with Spina Bifida and subsequently died, and the mother was considering abortion. She changed her mind when my dad wrote this poem.
He passed away on January 16th, 2011. It fills my heart with joy to know he's helped so many people with only words.

@lcd120 Your father saw that I had made his poem into a montage soon after I had uploaded it, and he wrote to me and explained to me the story. I am sad to hear of his passing and I pass on to you my deepest condolences. It is wonderful though that his poem is living on, and has brought comfort to many people, including myself. xx
