In this tutorial Dubspot instructor Thavius Beck teaches you how to use Ableton Live's Beat Repeat audio effect to manipulate your drum tracks and create new and interesting rhythmic patterns and effects. He takes you through each feature of the effect and offers an in-depth explanation of what each knob does. A must for all beat heads out there interested in creating some tweaked out effects in their drums.

@DubSpot I've been looking at them for a while now. I'm in finishing up my BA in business online right now. I think I am going to take the Digital DJ class this summer to see how I like them. If that goes well you can count me in for the dubspot ableton course

Excellent tutorial. Very clearly explained in a really logical order.
I have been using Live for like 5 years and I have never understood what I was really doing with beat repeat.
