指揮 カール ベーム 演奏 ウィｰン交響楽団
バックハウスの演奏を評して｢ベートーヴェンが鳴っている｣と言
うのが最も適した表現であると思う。特にこの４番の演奏は鍵盤の タッチが美しく、傑作であると思う。 -
i agreee...who can say which is the best?'.. Michelangeli,Ghilels, Horowitz,Richter,Pollini, Arrau, Backaus,Sofronitsky, Godowsky... and many others... ...Impossible on my taste--

GILELS, SVIATOSLAV RICHTER, GOULD,(even with his idiossincrasia)ARRAU ...

I think Gilels is the best one I've ever heard... the one that is in the Great Pianists of the 20th Century Collection... amazing

Have you guys heard the recording of the Beethoven Concerti by Kempff/van Kempen?
Without a doubt excellent.

I prefer Rubinstein.

This is much faster than Rubinstein's interpretation. It give this a much lighter and more cheerful impression where Rubinstein's is dark with emotional drama.
