Activist Ben Lowe calls the present generation to come together and care for the earth in a way that recent generations have not. Telling real-life stories of community organizing on college campuses across the nation, Lowe shows us that little things can make a big difference when we all work together.
It's not just about trees. God pronounced all of creation good and charged man to tend to the garden. I personally work with an organization that has been giving jobs to people living in extreme poverty to plant trees. For many, experiencing love from others in a profound way opens them up to hearing about Christ. For others, getting in touch with the creation is drawing them closer and causing them to ask questions about the Creator.

This has NOTHING to do with the gospel. Save souls, not trees.

Ben,
This is Luke B., your former RA friend from Evans-Mac. You are a rock star, sir! I can't wait to get my hand on this book. I read about it in the record today and it made me so happy. Keep up your good work. Thanks.
