During this three day Thai New Year festival everyone goes out onto the street, has good time and throws water at each other for good luck. This was taken in April 2006.

This taken around 13 April. any year. Thailand celebrate new year then, and they celebrate it with water lot and lots of water.
Its the best festival to join. If you have time to get here, GET here. All thailand is wet wet. and happy

Wow! I was stationed there in 1965-1966. It was great fun getting soaked since it was so hot.
Back then there were maybe 5 cars in town. The streets were full of samlars and motorcycles.
What a beautiful country and beautiful people. I'm so glad I got to be there.
