  • good instructional but i think you would get sweeped to the side you grabed the collar after you start to go for the second grip.

  • thanks, there is always a possibility to get swept (reversed) when mounting, so take your time and let us know how it works out if you try it.

  • Nice detail at the beginning with keeping the elbow locked onto their chest.

  • this is the best choke in JJ.

  • there's a lot of really good setups you can do with this. generally if they defend with a roll you'll work the armbar

  • Nice... i'm gonna try this one....

  • You can still get the choke as long as you maintain your hand position.

  • Happens a lot - I'd say if you got the grips in deep enough then you could still easily finish him from the bottom (with him in your guard after the sweep).

  • biggfoot67 if he does bump and roll succesfully you still keep your hands in the same position how they were in the collar and you can still finish the choke from you closed guard

  • man this choke is effective from mount but you can also get it on from inside their closed guard or if you're on the bottom and they're in your guard, it's harder to get the pressure but still incredibly uncomfortable. i've been submitted like this loads of times haha

  • lol im A

  • hey nice choke but if both arms are being used cant the opponent just bump and roll?
