Sigma Star Saga Part One: Humans V.S. Krills!

This game is one of first rpg-shoot-em up game.

In this game; Ian Recker who must act as double Agent and become one of Krill in order to find out what weapon was about and discover six mysterious planets and stop them from crash the mankind.

That introduction stage is one of my favorite part of the game and one of my favorite background music. It just put you right into the action. The worse part of the game is the third and fifth planet.

I agree ^_^ I do really liked the Fire Planet a lot. because of the unique and coloful random battle encounter and not only that but also overworld exploration. I never really liked Ice/or Water level anyway.

Also, There was glitch remember how I was playing that game on my GBASP in chapter 5 where if a white, tombstone shaped thing is the last thing I hit during a random battle; I was thrown into an infinite loop stage. I never could cleared that 5th planet since I kept run into that glitch. I manged to finally bypassed that glitch after 10 or 11 tries when I just avoid shooting the tombstone shaped. Or those small white enemies in the top or bottom part of the random battles. How crazy is that?

I remember when i first got this game, I failed this first level sooo many times!! xD This games is one of my faves. :D

@matthewdoucette It's actually a term for a game that I never seem to get.

Any time you have stats that can be raised in a game, it's counted as an RPG. Granted, this is probably the most REPETITIVE games I have ever played. I'd rather just run around instead of having to play a pore man's light force every few seconds. ^^;

This is a highly underrated series on the handheld. they should remake this on a nextgen system.

I HATE the First stage. That was a bitch in a can. Great game though.
