You can't go to Savannah without visiting Chippewa Square, sitting on a bench and thinking of Forrest Gump telling his life story. There are several locations where scenes from the movie were filmed in and around Savannah. While on our weekend get away, Ladybug and I made it a point to visit a few. Here are the locations we visited;
The Gryphon Tea Room, Independent Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church, Chippewa Square, Wormsloe Plantation are all in Savannah. Stoney Creek Chapel is in McPhearsonville, SC and Bluff Plantation is in Yemassee, SC.
Great video. Beaufort , SC was used extensively in Forrest Gump. You should visit their film history. Forces of Nature, G.I. Jane, Prince of Tides , & The Big Chill. Tom Berenger married a waitress from Beaufort & has a couple of kids. They are now divorced but, he still lives there. Beautiful place.

Thank you very much for the video!
I strive to find myself in this area and look at the places.
Would you, please, be so kind to tell the exact location of the oak alley Jenny and Gump strolled along, right before Gump ran? This is the place of my dream... I would highly appreciate your kindness.
