Second session learning the track on old tires in Practice before the SCCA National weekend at Portland International Raceway. When you have very minimal seat time before an event, find the limits quickly where it is safe. This definitely isn't a 4th gear corner! We were running without the chicane this weekend, 118mph (no draft) entry into the braking zone, not bad for a little Spec Miata. May 6-8/2011 www.brodygoble.com

  • @ArthursWRX8U Thats a coincidence, this season I am driving a Falken Tire/ASD/R3 Racing Nissan 240sx in Formula Drift Pro-Am. Do you have some sort of crystal ball over there??

  • @MadCat360

No one says Miatas can't drift...

They're quite a good platform if you're prepared to boost the motor.

  • lol nice, I did one of those in turn 6 at Thunderhill but it was nowhere near as long or as high speed! Who says Miatas can't drift?

  • Great job managing & predicting the amount of understeer... minimal correction/shake on exit

  • nice
