I have the cheaper one and I really like it. It needed a good set up but ofcourse its not as good as the german models. But for the money I think it kicked all other guitar brands like Hagström, Epiphone etc. I have a recording with my guitar at my channel (the infosection has a link, I didnt upload it myself). Check it out if you are curious about the sound.

Its the German made model. The cheaper one, the Very Thin Contemporary model is made in China, but is also a decent guitar for the money.

check out Hofner's site, but i would be surprised if it were not made in Germany
