When I listened to this breathtaking song, "Broken", from Sonata Arctica, and paid attention to the lyrics, I pictured Basch writing it to Ashe, in some random day that he decided to pour all his heart out, let her know his story and especially how special she is to him. It is an insight into his life, his brother Gabranth and his love for the Princess. However, some sentences kinda belong more to Gabranth than Basch (that's why he appears on the video in some parts). I tried my best to match the lyrics with the scenes and Basch/Gabranth history. I worked and made a lot on effort on this and, more important, I loved to do it :)

Well at the during the ending scenes it leaecs it open to interpretation. After reading the letter where it is mentioned by Penelo that Ashe really misses Basche and wants him with her but would never admit it for appearances, Basch has this really complex expression (profound/thoughtful/pondering
/tranqui) on his face, he puts his judges helmt down on a table, and begins to walk away. Perhaps he returns to Ashe. :P That's what I would love to think anyway -
I absolutely adore this! It made me realize how METAL Basch is. Hehehe. :P
