Jorge E. Jaramillo kindly gave me permission to show how to fold his Knob Box.
I learned how to do the model from CP http://www.flickr.com/photos/georigami/4391724746 and finished it a little bit different, so it is not completely similar to Jorge's beautiful model that can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/georigami/4371588018/
The first two parts show the precreasing (folding the CP), the second part concentrates on collapsing the top part (Knob) and the fourth part shows how to make the actual lid (box).
Since the Knob Box is only a lid, in the fifth part I will show how to fold a simple box to accompany it (design by Anna Kastlunger).
@heruilin This time I used 12"x12"construction paper with little better results. This time the paper was bit too thick and two of the 8 inverted pyramids on the knob came out twisted. The whole twisting to action is very difficult to see what's going on.
My hat's off to Anna for this demo and making her's so beautiful .. just another master at her craft.

I started with too small a piece of paper and when twisting to create the flattened knob I could only get half of it as the other inverted pyramids created by the kites started crumpling. So close .. yet so far. I will try again with larger paper.

This is awesome! unlike many other origami boxes, this one hold itself very nicely without the need to use glue or stapler. Love it!
