Just back from a wonderful week away in Nice. I would highly recommend this city to anyone who loves the sea and beautiful old buildings.

@obzuk It was very very posh. £2500 for one night in the royal hotel. If it hadnt been for the fact it was also a museum, I think we would have been kicked out!

amazing! so beautiful! maybe i will try to go there! i just wish my french was better... do you speak french? do you think it's necessary to know french in order to feel comfortable as a tourist there?

@mayandarko My french is limited to what I learnt at school so its very basic.To be honest , many french people can speak a little english too and , as long as you try to make the effort to converse a little in french, they appreciate that effort.
