A short piece of one of the great legendary teams of the 50's. Hungary destroy England 6-3 at Wembley Stadium in 1953 - here's some outstanding goals from the Magical Magyars...

There is no question Puskas, Hidegkuti and Kocsis were great individuals and a great trio. I think they are the only trio up to this point in history to surpass the fearsome Gre-No-Li.

Rated the best team ever....the names are legendary even to those of us who have never seen them. Kocsis, Budai, Czibor etc mean class and fantasy in football.

The 50's team through it away, the germans paid them off, the hungarians needed the money cuase of the situation at home with the Russians invading n all .. half of the team went to Prison, Puskas seeked Asuylum in Spain.. Cebor and Cozics went to Barcelona

Yes Anton, it's a long way from those days - the Hungarians haven't had a great team for decades, and now they are just a shadow of the past. Shame.
