Also Generation X were as well, a very underrated band Billy Idol could sing and the rest of the band could play their instruments unlike the Pistols! People tend to believe that the Sex Pistols define Punk Rock and that's bullshit, there were bands during that time that were so much better than they ever were....

Skrewdriver is a good band I dont care about the racism even though Im not racist. Almost all nazi bands suck because their music is horrible unintelligent uncatchy stupid garbage. Skrewdriver however are just awesome.

@pitbullbootboy That's what the General Public think because the Pistols made such a big splash.Then the horrible Sid and Nancy shit which the media publicized a movie was made.Actually it was Malcolm McLaren who came to the States and saw the New York Dolls and The Ramones then went back to England to create the Sex Pistols.Who really started the Punk movement,I can't say but it wasn't the Pistols.As far as talent The Clash were on top of their game even tho proclaiming not to care about it.

@pitbullbootboy You sound upset :( - the Pistols COULD play, and it's obvious to anyone who was there, as i was. You might not like them but to say they were bad just doesnt make sense. To say Skrewdriver is 100 times better is a stretch. c'mon - they were good, but very derivative and basic at the time. It all came AFTER the Pistols, people miss that. Clash, Buzzcocks, etc - all good. Gen X was great as well, but almost a teen pop band. With a silly tough name like yours you must be a yank, ha
