How much time does it take to write and support a smartphone app? How much markup do you think there is here?

I was actually wondering why they didn't bring out more things. Print the AA battery holder. Print the servo motor. (I wonder if you can?) Also, why have a handheld remote control? They have overlooked everyone having a smart phone these days. A bluetooth serial module costs less than $10.
