disassemble the phone.
disconnect the LCD Screen from the motherboard. The touch screen digitizer is mounted on the LCD screen with the help of a metal mount. You'll have the unmount the Digitizer from the LCD screen. look for a tutorial online.

Make sure before you buy the product, you must ensure if your LCD Screen and the digitizer, both are broken or only the touchscreen digitizer or only the LCD screen

Thanks... Well, I already have it disassembled... I just need a new touch screen digitizer : )
tried ebay... it's less then $5 and I thought it would be like really expensive and all. Thanks for your help

oh BTW, any recommendations on whom to buy it from? as in any particular trust worthy seller on eBay... coz most of the sellers on eBay are Chinese and I was going through their reviews, well many people have mentioned that they never received the product or product was broken or full of scratches... just let me know if you have someone you can recommend : )

i remember it was from china too.... almost all of them are from china. mine arrived in excellent condition, i dont know what to say. try to find the user with most of the feedbacks good. and btw, you have to wait till youll get it in your hands, considering the distance.

hi... my phone's screen cracked just a while back (like 15 mins back) and it's simply heart breaking... could you please tell me how much will a new screen cost and where to get it from?

try on ebay, from there i've bought it. it isnt very expansive. there are on google some useful links with tutorials to replace the scree. it isnt hard.
