I appreciate you trying to teach and I understand the willingness to let people what you do when you play but as a player directed under and through the Holy spirit it is imposable to to show or direct people to every note but keep on playing I personally know that I don't know everything that my hands do when that anointing hits

true but the anointing needs something to work with. If I never learned basic melody and chords I would have nothing musically to work with. My testimony is that I never took formal piano lessons but I learned music theory as an French horn player. It wasn't until I was able to purchase music books showing me the chords and scales I never learned that I was able to put together what I heard in my head on the keyboard

haha, got the same keyboard and thats the organ sound i allways use, too! :) i's actually the only good electric-organ sound on the wk.....

Wow. Thanks. I've always started with the melody first, but for some reason, I thought that was amateur. But after watching this video lession, I now no better and will no longer feel ashamed to start with the melody first.
