Pope receives Sheikh Hasina, prime minister of Bangladesh

Benedict XVI received the prime minister of Bangladesh, a country where 120 million people are Muslim compared to its minority Catholic counterpart of just 312,000.

The pope and the prime minister talked about the promotion of respect for human rights of all citizens.

The prime minister thanked the pope for the Churchs activities in Bangladesh in the realm of education and healthcare.


Curiously, the prime ministers daughter kneeled emotionally at the feet of the pope who made her stand back up immediately.

Sheikh hasina is an idol for the muslims of the world. She is a pious lady with love for all human being and all religion. Just the way the world wants all the muslims to feel and behave. If its so, then the world would be so much of a better place. And by the way, that was not PM's daughter and the city footages were from mumbai rather than from bangladesh.
