In this video I'm showing you how we are going to change out the stock clutch springs with some heavy duty after market clutch springs. With this engine making lots more HP and torque, the factory clutch springs will not be able to hold the power or torque that this engine is going to make.

  • what is an estimate of how much this job would cost with parts and labor

  • @yamahabeatshonda. If was to do it. Your looking at $150.00 for all of it. Springs, gaskets plus labor.

  • The older springs are shorter. There is a big difference between the new heavy duty springs and the stock springs. This bike runs very well, its lots of fun to ride now. The power comes on strong.

  • Nice videos, If I don’t install a bore kit can I still change the clutch springs? If so what will this do to my atv? Will this help turn those bigger tires? Sorry for all the questions. If I decide to install a bore kit, do you think it would be better to have it done since I don’t have the proper tools? Also could you let me know where I can purchase these items and around how much will it cost? Thank you so much for your videos I love them.

  • wow.. i thought it would be easier... no wya in hell am i ever workin on my own bike :p i think ading gas to my atv is already annoying :p wish i could get something with an automatic clutch atv width of under 41 inch's and like enough power ot get a 300 lb guy going 70 mph.

  • man i wish i was more skilled with a wrench, I have a 06 suzuki vinson 500 but rode a wolverine and fell in love Looking to buy 1 maybe a 07-08 but I want a 700, can a raptor 700cc engine work with the 4x4? man you got talent bro what year is your wolvy?

  • Those old springs were probably the same length. But after a while they shrink and weaken. Good idea.

    So how's it running?
