Sorry for the poor sound quality. My camera did not do well at all.
This is a 408 built from a 360 in a Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited.
Just a short movie of idling the engine.
Here is the list of parts that went into this thing:

  • no pics of the motor, u should check out my 408 stroker in my jeep....what did u do to your tranny and transfer case

    Transmission has a 2,400 stall.  Transfer Case is stock.

    To answer your question, about 410 with 460 tq. I am looking into using a different cam as well.

    It's more like 5 seconds to 60 but never had a way to secure an exact figure.

    As far as mileage goes, it is capable of 20mpg but getting that on a consistent basis is very difficult as stomping on the gas is so much fun.

    I had it repainted with Deep Amethyst, also a 1998 Chrysler color.

    At the time it needed a bit of tuning. Since then I had a completely different motor built for it using a block from another 5.9 limited. I will get another movie showing the new engine soon.

  • Limited LX (1998)

    This is the European version of the 5.9 Limited. the only differences are that Limited LX are built in Magna Steyr in Austria but with all the 5.9 Limited features intact
