  • american invasion of canada! KICK EM OUT!

  • I am SO happy this man did not win Presidency.

  • lol is america so fucked that you judge a person on there name instead of their principles?

  • Republicans just want to bully Canada's natural resources. Just look at how they jerked us around with cattle and softwood lumber. This guy is lying through his teeth and just wants Canada to be the US's whipping boy.

  • He doesn't even know what country he is in... "We haven't built [a new nuclear plant] in this country in almost 30 years."

NAFTA has hurt the USA the most, Mexico second, and Canada last. As part of its own rules, NAFTA cannot be re-negotiated. It must be eliminated and a new international trading agreement must be written up which benefits all three nations. It is possible if you are looking to benefit more than 1% of the richest schmucks in the US.

  • You haven't recieved the good part of this deal?

Really, how about Canada's natural resources? You do realize that the US imports more oil from Canada than Saudi Arabia.

What about cattle, softwood lumber, uranium, nickel, etc. Not too mention human capital such as engineers, doctors and so forth. You do get quite a bit actually.

  • I heard the beginning of this speech on CSPAN and was quite impressed with the way he was accepted in this economic community to the north. McCain will provide strong leadership with our neighbors and strong leadership with our trading partners for more free trade that will help all involved. The one who introduced him said that with McCain's energy and schedule, he was the "new 50" refering to his age, but being just over that age now, I think he is doing much better than most of us at 50.
