The man didn't remind the viewers about the two times Pinocchio was tricked *twice* by Honest John, first when he went to Stromboli's puppet show and got locked in a cage and second when he went to Pleasure Island, where the boys who went could *get away with* doing *bad* things and consequently turned into *donkeys*.
