*NOTE I broke my shoulder dirt biking and can only do so much with Boomer because of it! He is dealing with my handicap in this video*
Boomer can also do lateral work -- side passing, leg yielding, turn of the haunch/forehand, jump, barrel race and much more that I am unable to show with my broken shoulder.

Awesome 8 year old sound and papered ~15.3 hand AQHA gelding. "Boomer" is a flashy mover in the arena: English or Western. VERY SMOOTH and flexible. He rarely spooks (when he does it's for a great reason) and when he does he stands or takes a slow step sideways. He tries extremely hard to do what you ask of him and has a puppy dog personality. For example, I never taught him to, but since I broke my shoulder, he drops his head almost to the ground so that I can put his bridle on! He does all the basics: trailers, ties ect. He can go very slow, or fast at any gait. He is wicked fast when you ask him to run and he will stop when asked! He will also slow down to go at a pleasurable western jog. He can have a western pleasure headset, hunter hack, and is currently being trained to have a jumper and dressage frame. Very versatile. Trained in Barrel Racing, Western Riding; started in dressage, trail riding and jumping. He is FABULOUS on the trail if he is with small groups, but does need a more advanced rider with larger groups trail-only if he is in last place! We just took him for a week camping in the sierras and he was AWESOME! Otherwise an advanced beginner or intermediate rider could take this horse anywhere. Pick a discipline and finish him or just do it all! He has jumped barrels on their side with a pole on top and logs of the same size out on the trail. He certainly can jump much bigger; I just haven't had the time! He hasn't balked at any jumps and has spooked once, but otherwise isn't scared of much of anything and I've exposed him to a lot of weird things! Mules, cars racing on roads, deer, water, rivers, pipes, bicyclists, motorcycles racing up behind us (thanks motorists), roping dummies (see picture) and more. Great jumping, English pleasure (flat work) or speed event prospect. A very calm guy who will stand tied for hours, but will get up and go when asked. Email or call or text me for questions, pictures, pedigree or to come see him! This cool guy needs a job and I don't have the time for him. He's located in Templeton (93465 area code). TO A GREAT HOME ONLY! Please feel free to call text or email me! I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!
