This bulk upload process enables users to export text records from their image database to include in The Copyright Registry at C-Registry.us. This benefits rights holders by enabling all online copies of the images covered to link to the rights holder, which is often the photographer or other creator. The simple export/import process for text data, which includes the URL path to images online, is explained in this "how to" video. Bulk export is ideal for newspapers, stock photo agencies, museums, libraries, corporations and other major rights holders that have database-driven web sites with many URLs to images and who do not want their images mistaken for "orphaned" works. (Note that C-Registry is NOT the U.S. Copyright Office. Bulk uploads apply to images online for which the owner wants all copies - whether unauthorized, uncredited or unknown by the author - to link back to them.)
