I think I know that already. The point is that some Ashkenazi jews have an identity complex "some" of them seem uneasy with there history and want to rewrite history to suit them.

You are wrong! Semites are not confined to arabian peninsula, its just arabs who were southern semites. Hebrew is northwestern semitic language, and that's why Jews are lighter like King David had orange hair. In fact, many people were probably lighter before the arabs from the arabian peninsula invaded when Islam was invented in the 7th century.
