Police in New Mexico say an alert neighbor chased down a suspected kidnapper and then rescued 6-year-old girl. The suspect, 29-year-old Phillip Garcia, is facing kidnapping and other charges. (Aug. 16)

Does anybody have any updates on this story? Its been a month now since this incident occured. Did the kidnapper have a record? Has he admitted to anything yet? Has it gone to trial yet?

I've know Phillip since high school. We hung out and played basketball bout a month ago! I hope his family is doing ok and deserves what's coming to him. I wonder if I can sell the page he signed in my yearbook on cragslist.
