I must admit, I like the lyrics for the original opera better, but I appreciate the improved sound when it comes to Celes's singing

The GBA lyrics are infinitely better than the SNES version. Try to compare each note Maria/Celes sings to a syllable of the lyrics. The lyrics/melody go hand in hand in the GBA version but the SNES version misses a few beats or has too many syllables for a string of notes.

@justa16thnote honestly, I think the only difference that was a stupid change was the learn rates. It only adds to the already countless hours of unnecessary ap grinding.

It's good but the video is off pace with the music. I have always loved this game and this particular part of the game.

@LamentOfInnocence It's a long debate over which had the better sound chip. I should note that the GBA had only two sound channels (+GBC) while the SNES had 8. But yes, the actual Celes vocals seem to have a slight advantage on the GBA. I'm really thrown off by the rest, though.
